Cosplaying is a great creative outlet! It can be difficult to know where to start at first and can be quite intimidating. If you persist on though, you can learn different skills and gain confidence that can help you in many facets of your life. However, I’ve personally always thought that the greatest thing about cosplay is the friends you make along the way and the memorable experiences that can be had! This can start before the cosplay even comes together in just getting together to plan and create to make something wonderful. There is a dark side to cosplay though. Some people allow it to go to their heads with wanting to be ‘the best’ when there’s simply no such thing. Everyone has a different creative point of view and outlook on cosplay. It is best just to never forget why you started cosplay and to remember that it’s only a fun hobby to take part in. Also, responsibilities always come first!
