Far Cry 3 Did I ever tell you the definition of Insanity? If you haven’t Heard this before than you missed one of the biggest games coming this year. Yes we are talking about Far Cry 3. Far Cry is one of the best first-person shooter game series which is created by the Crytek Studios. Last year in E3 2011 press conference Ubisoft announced to release Far Cry 3 in September 4^th 2012 for North America and in September 7^th for Europe. This 3^rd edition of the game is twice as large as the first two games and it will be made for all the platforms including Microsoft Windows, Play Station 3 and Xbox 360.

Far Cry 3 is based on the story line of Far Cry 1 not on Far Cry 2. The main role for the player is Jason Brody who is a tourist, his girlfriend is missing, his boat is destroyed and he driven to a mysterious island where he has to face the violent conflicts with crazy rather insane people. This game can be played both by a single and multiplayer.

So the good news for the Far Cry lovers is that Far Cry 3 has much improved and fabulous graphics with improved handling and enhanced controls. Everything in the environment is exquisitely detailed from the sky to the ground and the greenery around. Some of the improvements which are significant in this game are that you are that you are now able to shoot enemies behind objects in crouch mode with free hands. You are also able to perform “takedowns” with the help of using melee attacks from above or in crouch mode as it was lacked in the previous version. The player will be able to see all the tasks and plans on the top of the screen and will have the ability to do survey with that, the player has to take pictures throughout the game as he carries a camera with him all the time. You’ll also see a larger variety of weapons and ammo in Far Cry 3.

Unlike its predecessors Far Cry 3 is made ‘open-world’ to maintain a purposeful exploration sense. With this feature you will be able to roam around anywhere you want to go or feel like going, which gives much openness to the game and freedom to the player. One of the interesting features of the game play is that you can take a variety of things from the person you have killed unlike the other games in which you could only take the weapons. This is one of the features which gives the player a sense of realism and excitement of finding something new and interesting.

It is one of the most talked about games in the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year because it is anticipated to be a big hit this year or there are chances of it becoming the game of the year 2012. Just play this game once on any console you’d like to play on and you’d simply fall in love with its game play if you are a Far Cry or even any shooter game fan. This game is for the players above 18 years of age and has a mature plot so it is not recommended for the gamers below the mentioned age.
