I’m really really fond of this hobby. Because cosplay allows us to be creative and learn a lot for example about wig styling, make-up, fabrics, patterns, photoshop skills etc. Plus, you meet tons of awesome people and I, for my part, gained a lot more of selfconfidence ever since I’ve started cosplaying. And heck, even looking at other, super awesome cosplays and getting so inspired by everything is awesome. So, cosplay is an artsy way to express the creative part of myself, I guess, and I really like to describe us as shapeshifters who are gradually trying to improve our skills. The only disadvantage is that you get rid of your money and leisure time real quick and being a perfectionist can get you really stressed out and exhausted.

Hm, but everything’s just fine as soon as you can see the result, have a good time with your friends and get some positive feedback. I’m also very happy about ‘helpful criticism’ so that I can improve myself and grow.
